Two-Year-Old Program

Full-Day (8 am - 5 pm)
Part-Day (8:30 am - 11:45 am)

Class sessions are offered:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday
  • Tuesday/Thursday

We have a ratio of 1:5 in our two-year-old program, allowing us to accommodate 10 children with 2 teachers.

We use a curriculum developed with the curious toddler in mind, "High Reach." The High Reach Curriculum fits nicely with the Core Knowledge curriculum that the children are introduced to in our three-year-old program. We encourage the development of language and motor skills through exciting monthly themes. Simple games, songs, and finger-plays are just a few of the activities that enable each child to learn about the world first-hand. Each week, art, small/large motor, language, music, and rhyme activities help engage and involve your two-year-old in new learning experiences.

Outdoor Classroom

Our playground is used an outdoor classroom with a block area, book corner, music area, dramatic play, gardening, and art center in addition to climbing, bike riding, and sand play. As the children explore in our outdoor classroom, they are learning problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and negotiation. We see our children navigate through obstacle courses, building self-independence, making decisions while building in the sand together, getting creative at the art center, negotiating in our mud kitchen, problem-solving in our block area, and relaxing in nature at our book corner. Additionally, outdoor physical activity boosts endorphins and helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while increasing self-esteem, self-confidence, and creativity as well as sharper thinking.
