we’ll be staying at the Villa Maria del Mar retreat center. You may view the retreat center online at www.villamariadelmar.org. Most of the accommodations will house 2 women
per room, but there are a limited number of single rooms available that will be
given out on a first come, first served basis.
The cost of the weekend is $215 which pays for 2 nights lodging and 6
meals.
To reserve
your spot, look for the reservation table after the service today or call Kathy

Reservations will be taken throughout December until our limited space is filled.
MEN OF OUR SAVIOR . . . Are you trying to decide what to get
that special woman in your life for Christmas?
How about giving her a weekend away to unwind, enjoy the peace and
beauty of the ocean, have fun and fellowship with other women of faith, and
spend some time in worship and prayer.
If this sounds like the perfect gift, then sign her up for the Women’s
Retreat.
The Advent by Candlelight was a delightful experience,
enjoyed by 200 women. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all
of those involved: Carol Clobes, for all her hard
work coordinating the tables, Dee Christopher, for her gift of this event
to Our Savior, and for her warm welcome and prayer, Jacki
Shotts and Nora Zinnel for
the advent program, Lynn Kramer for typing the bulletin, Katy Sanlis and Andrea Gomes for the great job they did on their
skit, and Steve Christopher and his gentlemen coffee servers (thanks, guys--you always make us feel special). A special thanks to our set-up and take-down crew: Ken Girardin, John Rajczyk,
Steve Christopher, Carol & Arnie Clobes, Nora Zinnel, Kym Buyer,
Katy Sanlis, Glenna Sanlis, Laura
Gong, and Catherine Carlo. (If I have left anyone out, please forgive
me. Please know that all your help was very much appreciated!) from Kathy Newman

SCHOOL CHAPEL
CrossRoads – Come and Journey. You are all
invited to join us for our weekly chapel
worship on Thursdays at 8:40 a.m. in
the sanctuary.
Thank you – is not enough
Dear friends,
Well, again we thank our dear Lord for taking care of us so patiently
and lovingly. We could never thank Him enough for all He has given us,
especially our faith, forgiveness of our sins and eternal life.
God is always there in our
every day activities watching over us and providing what we need and what is
best for us. He knows what is in our
hearts and best of all – He cares.
Thank you for sharing your
time with our mission and letting Jesus’ light shine through you among all of
us. We have wonderful news. Marcolina ( Nioaque’s Funasa
leader ) had invited us to go and teach the kids and now the Cacique in Nioaque invited us officially to give them all
spiritual assistance. He asked us to teach the children, youth and adults. He wants Paulino to
give Bible studies and services. There
will be a meeting on Dec. 16th with the village leaders and people
to make a project of mutual cooperation as to what assistance will be
given.
Igor just called and said he
met the lady we sent to the hospital from Cachoeirinha
village – the one who needed a blood transfusion. She stayed 3 days in the hospital and now is
doing well, selling her art craft. She said she was very thankful for the
mission and all the assistance and care that was given
to her.
Thank you – two
small words with a profound meaning.
We very are grateful
for everyone who participated directly (our dear medical mission group) or
indirectly in reaching out to people’s anxiety.
All of those who made the crosses, bracelets, bought the medicine,
labeled them, lent the hospital and dental equipment, organized the bags,
helped pack, involved others in helping financially, gave rides, carried bags,
bought children gifts, gave embroidery craft material, covering the visit
through reports and pictures, families who were sensitive to the cause and gave
their support and for the all the prayers that were made, etc, etc.
Our special thanks to
Pastor Coy, who has supported the mission in many ways and pastor
Phil for his dedication.
Give thanks to
the Lord for he has done great things among us.
With love from your bothers and sisters in Christ, Paulino and Isabel--
