˜ Heart to Heart is a Bible study and informal Worship time held in the Sanctuary.  Steve Christopher is leading the class.  The topic:  Is God Fair? part 2.

The Gospel of Mark  Actions speak louder than words.”  This seems to be the motto Mark had in mind as he wrote his gospel, for he focuses primarily on Jesus’ deeds.  Come and join us as we study this gospel where Christ is portrayed as the servant of God.  Our goal will be to use Jesus as our model so that we can learn how to live for God and die to self.  Lou Bertolini is the instructor. Class meets in Room 17.

Pastor’s Class begins TODAY!  A new session of the “Pastor’s Class,” taught by Pastor Brewer, begins today in Room 18.  This class is open to all who are interested in hearing and discussing the Lutheran perspective of the Christian faith.  It will continue for several weeks, concluding with the reception of new members on November 20th.

Young Adult Bible Class meets in Room 9.  Anyone ages 18 - 30ish welcome.  Lauren Bortnem leads the class.   Topic:  The Book of James.

˜ The High School Youth meet in the Youth Room.  Youth Director Brett Bortnem leads the class.

˜ The Junior High School Class [grades 7 and 8]  meets in Room 10.  Jeff Greenhagen leads the class.

˜ The 5th and 6th graders meet in Room 12 today.

˜ Sunday School meet in Building D  for Ages 2 through 4th grade

Today our Sunday School students learn about the ministry and message of the prophet Elijah as they study 1 Kings 17-19 and 2 Kings 1-2.  A topic for a family conversation might invite everyone to share ways that God takes care of them.  Story review questions might include, How might you feel if you were Elijah?  How was Jesus’ death the most victorious sacrifice ever?
