Time for the Men’s Retreat! – at Redwood Christian Park  in the Santa Cruz Mountains on the weekend of September 16-18.  This event attracts over 125 men from Prince of Peace, Fremont; St. Paul’s, Tracy; Mt. Olive, Milpitas; and Resurrection in Brentwood.

This year’s theme is “The Ministry of Encouragement,” based on Hebrews 10:23-25.  Our main speaker is Pete Feigal, a Lutheran brother from Minnesota, who is a walking miracle of God’s sustaining power.  He has battled MS for 17 years as well as clinical depression.  He will share his story with us of how God and fellow Christians have been a vital force of support in his life.  You will be inspired!

Cost is $135 for “cabin” accommodations. This includes five meals and all related program costs.  We will make car pool arrangements for all men attending from Our Savior.

There will also be an optional Golf Tournament held on Friday morning if you would like to participate.  Golfing cost is $65 and we can even make up our own foursomes from Our Savior.

To sign up, please pick up a registration form from the church office, the table on Sunday morning, or see Steve Christopher.  Questions?  Give Steve a call in the church office.

Winnie Reed, daughter of former member Marion Sievert, suggests that anyone inclined to do so would send Marion a card for her 85th birthday on August 14, as Marion is in very fragile health and she loves to receive cards.
