Monday Morning Bible Study

This Bible Study group meets again on July 10 at 9:30 a.m. in the home of Ann Brand. The study from Lifelight is about prophecy.

Wednesday Morning Senior Adult Bible Study Group is taking a summer break. They will meet again in September.

Women’s Bible Study Group meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday night of each month at 7 p.m. in the Christopher home. The study is the Old Testament Book of Nehemiah. The next discussion is on July 12.

Senior Adults’ Fellowship

This Senior group meets on the 2^nd Wednesday of each month in the Recreation Hall, 1685 Portola, from noon to 2 p.m. For information contact Lorraine Stamer or Edna Carpenter. The next get-together is Wednesday, July 12.

Men’s Friday Morning Breakfast Bible Study is taking a summer break and will meet again in September.

Thursday High School Youth Night pool party (location to be announced) from 6-9 p.m. on July 6. Bring a snack to share with everybody. Drinks are provided.

● Thursday, July 13, pack up the cargo van for the mission trip. Go over last minute details. Meet at church at 7 p.m. and bring your tools, sleeping bags and suitcases.

4^th OF JULY PARKING

The Livermore Police Department has informed us that we will not be able to exit onto South Livermore Avenue between 9 and 10 p.m. The street will be blocked for exiting so don’t be in a hurry to leave after the fireworks. And most of all – “Be Patient!”

4^th OF JULY OUTREACH TO OUR GUESTS Our Savior has printed up a number of “welcome” cards for use at the 4^th of July Celebration here on our campus. We expect some 400+ people to be with us that evening and would like to make them feel welcome and share information about OSLM with our guests. Please see Steve Christopher in the back of church this morning to get your set of friendship cards.

PARKING PASS ATTENDANTS NEEDED for our 4^th of July Celebration on Tuesday from 4 -9 p.m. If you could work an hour shift checking folks as they come to park, that would be very helpful! Check with Steve Christopher after church today, or call the church office tomorrow, 447-1246.

Just a reminder that beginning today, all contributions to the Brick by Brick program as well as contributions to the Ministry Center will be combined into the Building Up – Reaching Out building and loan repayment account.

CALLING WOMEN WHO LIKE TO SING! Any girl or woman, junior high age or older, is invited to participate in a treble ensemble in July. Two short rehearsals will be on Mondays, July 10 and July 17, from 7 – 8 p.m. We will sing in worship service on July 23. This is a great time to make a short commitment to giving praise to God.

TIME TO CLEAN OUT THE KITCHEN, AGAIN! If you have left pots, pans, dishes, etc. in the kitchen, please claim them and take them home. Many thanks!

The Livermore READ Project is seeking additional volunteer tutors to help motivated adults improve their basic reading and writing skills. A FREE tutor training will provide you with all the skills you’ll need. The next training will be held at the Livermore Library on Monday, July 17, from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 22, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information, or to register for the training, call the READ Project at 373-5507.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AT OUR SAVIOR! Sunday, July 30 – Thursday, August 3, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. Join us at Treasure Cove, where we’ll discover the riches of Christ! A casual dinner will be served at 6 p.m. There will be classes for kids age 3 through 5^th grade, and nursery care for kids under age 3. The adult class is Faithfully Parenting Tweens, a class helpful to parents of young children, tweenagers and teenagers.
