CONCORDIA CAPSULE, IRVINE

Did you know that a world record may be broken at Concordia soon?  Sophomore Peter Ferry has decided to break the 52-hour world record for the longest game of wiffle ball and at the same time raise money for the American Diabetes Association.  The game will be held from midnight, April 21,  to noon, April 23, at Concordia’s soccer field and hopes to continue for 60 consecutive hours, with 30 students participating.  By seeking sponsors for the game, Ferry hopes to raise $20,000 for the ADA in honor of his brother, who was diagnosed with diabetes in January.  By the way, the current record holder is Ferry’s father!
