Years ago Our Savior had the tradition of taking a loaf of
“homemade bread” to the homes of those who visited with us in church on a
Sunday.
This month Our Savior will begin a
similar program of responding to our Sunday morning visitors which will be
called BREAD MAKERS AND BREAD
TAKERS. A loaf of bread and a
package of dry soup will be left as a gift along with information about our
church.
Two kinds of volunteers are needed
for this outreach effort:
1) Bread Makers – those who would make a loaf of
“homemade bread” [bread machines are okay] and deliver it to the church office
by
2) Bread Takers – members who would take the
bread and soup in a special bag to the home of the visitors between 3 and
We probably will need 2-3 Bread
Makers and 2-3 Bread Takers per week.
You can do both jobs if you want!
