Children’s Handbell Ensembles
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to enrich your child’s life through music! Our Savior Lutheran Ministries offers a handbell program for students in 4th through 8th grade. Students learn to make music together, read basic music notation, and become a team. At the same time, they experience the joy of giving praise to God! These ensembles participate in our annual Christmas concert and in our spring concert.
Glad Chimes
- Who: Grades 4+ (No previous experience necessary)
- When: Mondays from 3:15 PM until 3:55 PM in the Sanctuary.
- What: 2-3 Sunday Services and 2 concerts a year.
Alleluia Ringers
- Who: Grades 5+ (At least one year of experience required)
- When: Thursdays from 3:15 PM until 4:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
- What: 3-4 Sunday Services and 2 concerts a year.
Our Savior Ringers
This handbell choir is open to anyone of high school age or older. We meet in the Sanctuary on Mondays from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Our group is diverse in age, but we still have fun making music together! If you have never rung bells before but would like to give it a try, send us an e-mail or give us a call at (925) 447-1246 to get a few tips before starting. We always welcome new ringers - and our music adds a different kind of “joyful noise” to our worship!
