Fellowship

God helps us to grow in our faith in many ways, sometimes even using our relationships with others to strengthen our relationship with Him! Don’t miss out on any of these opportunities to have good times and make some good friends!

Willing Hands

Willing Hands meets at Our Savior every Tuesday from 9:00 AM to noon to help with cleaning various areas around campus. Come join us any time! It’s a great way to serve!

Stitches from the Heart

Stitches from the Heart meets monthly at the home of one of our members. Feel free to bring your baby things, prayer shawls, or whatever you’re working on. Contact the church office for more details, 925-447-1246.

Diners’ Club

The Diners’ Club of Our Savior is a monthly gathering in the homes of members and friends over a meal with the express purpose of getting to know one another better. Every fall things get going with a sign-up time and a special kick-off dinner. It all happens on a monthly basis and goes like this:

  • Sign up for the program with Charlie or Jo Ann Swift.
  • Hosts and guests will be assigned for each month.
  • The host selects a date and calls all of the guests to confirm the date.
  • The host plans the entrée and the guests bring salad and dessert.
  • Everyone gathers to enjoy great food and fellowship!
  • Each month previous guests become hosts and vice versa.

New additions are welcome all year long! To sign up or to ask questions contact Jo Ann or Charlie Swift or the church office.

Compass Groups

This small group ministry of Our Savior consists of groups of 8 to 12 people who gather for the purpose of fellowship with others, for study in God's Word, to care for one another, and to give service to others.

Group meeting schedule occurs as the group dictates — which can be on a monthly basis, twice a month or even on a weekly basis. They meet in a variety of settings such as homes, restaurants, and even camp settings. They get to share meals together, enjoy outings and the opportunity to be a community of people sharing directions in life.

A trained leader guides the direction and focus of the group to help each member experience fellowship, growth, care and service within a Christian atmosphere.
