SUMMER 2010 OSLM BIBLE STUDIES

God’s Living Word can equip us for growth as children of God, and it can prepare us for what lies ahead. Starting on June 20, our Sunday morning lineup of adult Bible classes offers you the following choices for personal growth and for doing life:

Cast of Characters — We will base this study on Max Lucado’s book, Cast of Characters: Common People in the Hands of an Uncommon God. Each week we will hear what the Bible has to say, see what Max has to say, and share what WE have to say about a Bible character or characters. As we recognize ourselves in them, we will also see that our source of hope is the same as theirs, the “Maker, Shaper, and Rescuer of sinking hearts — God.” Linda Greenhagen will lead this study in the Fireside Room.

Integrity: Living the Truth — Why live a life of integrity? Does integrity promise success? Does integrity bring respect from others? Does integrity mold healthy relationships? Does integrity make us happy? We'll explore answers (some will surprise you) to these questions and learn how integrity has its own reward. It allows us to pursue what is right and to reject what is wrong. Integrity invites us to know ourselves and to grow in respect for what we see there. Integrity brings contentment. Integrity draws us to follow Christ as our model — and our Lord. Please join us for this exciting interactive study that will help guide us to integrity! Don Young will lead this study in the Conference Room.
